How does everyone feel about censoring specific words or even websites on forums?

I typically censor hateful profanities and especially racist terms.

Some people don't censor words at all. Are you one of them? I'd love to know why and what would happen if someone used a really insulting or even racial word on your community.

How about forums that censor other websites? I don't practice this myself (aside from adult-rated or illegal sites), but I've seen many do it over the years, especially in terms of competing forums.

It is better that we turn off permissions for the wrong kind of words. It will help repel the sort of crowd you don't want on your forums.

If they can post, people will use them. It is much more convenient to block them.
