Is anonymity online a good or bad thing? Should users be required to use their real names?

What is your opinion and this and why?
 
They should use what they are comfortable with. I personally use my real name, but I have no issues with people knowing who I am.

Same here.

I don't mind what name you select.

But I use either "Shawn" or "Shawn Gossman" most of the time.
