A forum is like having your own private social network group; only you get absolute control over it, unlike social media group features.

If you own a business and have a business website, you probably often wonder about your consumers.

You wonder what sort of features they are looking for. You wonder what makes them happy. You wonder what they like and dislike. You can create surveys all day long if you want to go through the trouble.

Or you can add a discussion forum to your website and interact directly with your consumers.

If you have a business with a website, have you attached a forum to it? If not, why not?

In your overall opinion, do you think businesses should consider using forums as a tool to better understand their community?
