Paying forum moderators and admins

What do you think about the idea of having paid forum team members?

Would you consider paying your team if you were making enough money on your forum to share the wealth?

I'd love to see everyone's feedback on this idea.

If it is a business project, definitely.

As long as you're team members are making good contributions to your forum growth, they deserve to be paid something as a way to encourage them. It doesn't have to be too big a pay because you might not be making enough money or even making any money yet.

I agree.

I had a forum once that was fairly big. I didn't make money to be able to pay them, but I'd send them Christmas presents every year. They really appreciated that.
