Do you allow members to have signatures on your forum?

Do you allow them to include signature links?

Are signatures viewable by guests?

I do not have any big issues with it. But some people simply overdo it. I hate when that happens.

Most of the time, it is ok, I allow it.

I don't mind signatures providing there isn't just advertisement for another forum, that can be annoying.

I could see where advertising a forum on a forum not really about forums could be an issue.

I mean if its an admin forum, promotion, or webmaster - sure.

But a game or general or whatever is kind of spammy unless it's promoted as okay.

If member is sharing informative contents then no issue with link but if some one post like "Thanks for post", "Nice information" and trying to add link in his signature or post .... then i will recommend to ban those user and delete his post or post / signature links immediately.
