Do you think this is a good source of forum promotion?

Have you ever known any members to come from another forum you have a link on?

I did it years ago in the early 00s but haven't done it since, never did get much activity from it.

I think if you focuses on forums that are related to your niche and use the same software, you might have better luck.

The forum will have people interested in your relatable content and they're recognize the software and know how to use it.
