I don't mind making mistakes in some areas but there are areas I don't like making mistakes in.
I think it really boils down to that factor.
I am not afraid of making a mistake. Its part of life. If I do make one, hopefully I'll learn from it and avoid that situation next time.
I feel like as I get older, I'm more open to making mistakes as I have learned that the negative outcome of the mistake is rarely lasting, but the knowledge is forever.
When I was younger, I would beat myself up over a mistake.
Now pushing 40, they don't really bother me unless it impacts someone else. If my mistake hurt someone, then I would be bothered.
But mistakes are learning opportunities in the end.
