Ever had a member threatened to sue you?

I've seen members threaten to sue or make complaints in regard to account removal protocol for the GDPR requirements.

I think for the most part, when people threaten to sue, it doesn't go too far.

But have you experienced this? What was it over (if you can talk about it) and how did you respond?

If this has never happened to you, how would you respond to such a threat?

Can't say I ever seen or had this happen. I also think the whole GDPR law is a joke, as the whole forum scene stood on its head when it was announced, changing many add ons, terms of services, softwares, etc. And nothing really changed.

What should it have changed? Aside from cookie notices everywhere?

I have to be honest, I need to read up on it more.

I've only just looked at what I needed to do to be compliant.

I'm in the US of course but I want my communities to be available to all my European friends :)
