No about page.

I made a VERY basic HTML page in Xenforo for staff information. Been meaning to do something about how awful it looks :)
I think that's a really nice about page.

I think I'd just add a sentence or two explaining what the forum is on the top of the page.

All my sites basically list their mission, a short goal, and a few helpful keys that users may need.

That's a great about page!

It's to the point and covers all the good sections of a good about page!

Nice job :)

This is my blog's about page:

My forums don't have an about page (yet). Should I make one? *thinks*

So, funny reason here. I find my about page awesome at holding the strange descriptions and such that I need when making social media pages and whatnot to promote the site. It works as an about page but also gives me a page to jump to and copy & paste info for random stuff. I'm sure you can take this to more levels as well.

Thanks! This looks really good as well, and answers the questions people may have about you or the blog.

I don't really use social media a whole lot... So I don't have that need. But I think it's a great idea in general! :D

The way I see an about page for a forum is that it's extra content that you can control.

It could help with SEO if you format it right.

The more controllable content on a heavily user-generated content website the better.
