How do you keep your moderators happy?

For those of you who have moderators, what are you doing to keep this happy?

How do you keep them happy enough to continue moderating and being active on your forum?

How do you go above and beyond to keep your moderators happy? I mean, do you do anything different that most forums don't do?

Siince I don't currently have any... don't have to worry about that.

But honestly.. you job is not to "make them happy". They have a set of rules to apply. If they can't do that fairly... then they simply have no place being a moderator.
