I use to use this back before it was added to their ads service. I feel like over the years, the tool has really turned into something not worth using as much.

In fact, I find third-party tools like keywords-everywhere and SEMRush to be way more effective.

I started using Google Keyword Tool a long time ago. Currently, they have designed the tool to help the advertisers target their ad campaigns properly, but publishers and website owners can also use the tool to find the right keyword tool. Google Keyword Tool is a free service where as Semrish is a paid service with limited free use.
