Facebook pages or Facebook Groups?

If you're looking at marketing with Facebook pages or Facebook Groups, which one do you think would be more effective in reaching your target audience faster and also be able to convert your reach into sales?
Growing Facebook pages seem to be a lot difficult to how fast it is to grow groups.
What's your opinion on this one?

I think it really depends on your industry.

I can sell guided hiking trips on my group a lot quicker than on my page.

This is because people are there asking questions about who to hire for hiking and etc. already.

But for my actual page, I tend to convert more sales for my physical products which are my brand's merchandise.

My group has about 20K members and my page has a bit over 10K.
