In the world of digital marketing, we tell our clients that the best way to become known in your niche or industry is to become an authority in it and develop your industry expertise.

Forum marketing is no different.

If you want your forum to have a known position in your niche, you need to get YOURSELF known.

This can be possible by joining other forums in your niche and actively contributing to them.

Join forums with a common name so that you can be recognized. Keep a good attitude. Don't spam. Try to be as helpful as you can. Answer the hardest questions to get the most people interested in you.

Once you're seen as an authority in your niche or industry, gaining members on your forum will be less difficult, especially if you're helpful on your own forum.

What are your thoughts on this concept?
